We don't have all authority but Jesus did delegate authority to us as believers over all the enemy's power. In Matthew in the Great Commission and Mark, he talks about the signs that will follow those who believe in our delegated authority, he uses the word power, which if you look it up in concordance means authority, power. If we don't exercise our authority as authentic born-again Christians, we will be doing the same thing Eve did in the beginning when God gave Adam and Eve dominion over the whole earth, giving our authority away to Satan, except this time around it will be "letting him get away with whatever he is trying to do in your life."He can't take authority because as you stated Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and earth. Since he is represented as the second Adam, Satan will not be able to get his power back. But this only concerns the Christians, those who have not asked Jesus to be their lord and savior are still in the kingdom of darkness which is run by Satan, and they choose him by default. Now, we are seated with him in heavenly places, and where he is, so are we. We have more than we think. Papa Ray, you were a little harsh in your words, we don't have to attack each other when one doesn't quite believe the same way we do. We are to speak to each other in love and bear with one another as God has stated. He most likely didn't mean it like he wrote it, he probably was only thinking about our authority as believers that is given to every true believer. Almos...The question really is who does the sending? Almost all the translations agree that 'Angels are ministering spirits SENT (emphasis mine). The Greek is 'Apostello' Apo-Away from, and 'Stello' - send. Properly send away or commissioned by a superior.(Strong's 649). Jesus called His disciples and sent them out as apostles. They were answerable only to Him and to Him alone they came back to give a report. Angels are also answerable only to God.
In Daniel 10:11 the angel said I have been sent, as you read through scriptures, you will see a pattern that angels are God's messengers sent exclusively from His presence, and Psalm 103:20 confirms this without any ambiguity. Psalm 91 says He will command His angels concerning you. In the New Testament we see the same pattern; see Luke 1:19 and 26. The most compelling evidence however, are in Matthew 26:53 and Acts 12:1-10.

Matthew 26:53 "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?"

Acts 12:11 "And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”
Conclusion:
The Lord Jesus said if He prayed to the Father, The Father will send/provide or put at my disposal His angels.

After the resurrection, the church prayed to GOD for Peter's deliverance and God responded by sending His angel to release Peter from prison. There is no proof whatsoever in the scriptures to even suggest that believers can command angels. There are however, plenty of scriptures to prove that only God sends His angels on assignment for His children. Commanding angels is therefore a heresy.
However, I can concede that when we proclaim by faith, a rhema word given us by God, without specifically asking The Lord, we can expect the Father to send His angels in response to our proclamations or decrees. He still does the sending.Praise O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02666861033656368703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7316594940706010804.post-62223284442103782772019-07-10T09:33:47.379-07:002019-07-10T09:33:47.379-07:00Absolutely wrong. Jesus never said he was giving ...Absolutely wrong. Jesus never said he was giving the Apostles or us all authority in heaven and earth. He stated that all authority is given to Him and then gave very specific instructions to His disciples under His authority. Your opinion is much more aligned with the practices of witchcraft and the teachings of New Age than it is with a Biblical perspective. To make the claim that all power and authority which belong to Jesus Christ are ours is proud, boastful, arrogant self exaltation. Also, We should not call the angels by their names as that will amount to worshipping them but if we pray and command any angel to our situation it is now left for God to send which one he prefers. Please also note that there are millions of war angels but God decided to send Angel Michael to rescue that angel sent to Daniel.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15957854987726695541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7316594940706010804.post-55329153564018028012019-06-02T20:12:47.500-07:002019-06-02T20:12:47.500-07:00Before Jesus came we were not given all authority ...Before Jesus came we were not given all authority in heaven, please note this, That power came after Jesus died for us.
